ABSTRACT

Objective:To compare the effects of different doses of atorvastatin on blood lipid and endothelial function in patients with hypertension and carotid plaque.Methods:Ninety-two patients with hypertension and carotid plaque who received treatment from June 2019 to June 2020 were included in this study. They were assigned to receive treatment with either atorvastatin 20 mg (control group, n = 46) or atorvastatin 40 mg (study group, n = 46) for 3 months. Blood lipid level and endothelial function were compared between the two groups. Results:There were no significant differences in sex, age, course of disease, body mass index (BMI) and carotid plaque grading between the two groups (all P > 0.05). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in serum levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) between two groups (all P > 0.05). After treatment, serum levels of TC, TG and LDL-C in each group were significantly decreased compared with before treatment [study group: TC: (5.8 ± 2.3) mmol/L vs. (3.5 ± 1.3) mmol/L, t = 5.904; TG: (2.5 ± 0.8) mmol/L vs. (1.2 ± 0.5) mmol/L, t = 9.346; LDL-C: (5.0 ± 0.4) mmol/L vs. (3.3 ± 0.4) mmol/L, t = 20.382; control group: TC: (5.9 ± 1.8) mmol/L vs. (4.5 ± 1.5) mmol/L, t = 4.052; TG: (2.6 ± 0.3) mmol/L vs. (1.8 ± 0.7) mmol/L, t = 7.125; LDL-C: (4.9 ± 0.5) mmol/L vs. (4.2 ± 0.5) mmol/L, t = 6.714, all P < 0.01). After treatment, serum level of HDL-C in each group was significantly increased compared with before treatment [study group: (0.8 ± 0.5) mmol/L vs. (1.5 ± 0.3) mmol/L, t = 8.142; control group: (0.8 ± 0.4) mmol/L vs. (1.3 ± 0.2) mmol/ L, t = 7.583, both P < 0.01]. After treatment, serum levels of TC, TG and LDL-C in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group ( tTC = 3.417, tTG = 4.731, tLDL-C = 9.533, all P < 0.01). After treatment, serum level of HDL-C in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group ( tHDL-C = 3.762, P < 0.01). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in endothelium-dependent (flow mediated dilation, FMD) and endothelium-independent diastolic function (nitroglycerin- mediated dilatation, NMD) between the two groups (both P > 0.05). After treatment, FMD in each group was significantly enhanced compared with before treatment [study group: (7.5 ± 1.8) % vs. (10.9 ± 2.5) %, t = 7.486; control group: (7.7 ± 1.5) % vs. (8.9 ± 2.2) %, t = 3.057; both P < 0.05]. After treatment, FMD in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group ( t = 4.073, P < 0.01). There was no significant difference in NMD between before and after treatment in the control group. After treatment, NMD in the study group was significantly increased compared with before treatment [(12.5 ± 2.3) % vs. (13.6 ± 2.5) %, t = 2.196, P = 0.031]. Conclusion:Atorvastatin 40 mg once a day can effectively regulate blood lipid level and improve endothelial function in patients with hypertension and carotid plaque, which exhibits superior effects to atorvastatin 20 mg once a day.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the relationship between the levels of serum sTWEAK, BNP, MMP-1 and left ventricular remodeling in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM).Methods:From November 2018 to November 2019, 106 DCM patients admitted to Army No.72 Group Military′s Hospital were selected as DCM group, and 70 non-DCM peoplewho received physical examination at the same time were selected as control group.The serum levels of sTWEAK, BNP and MMP-1 were measured respectively, and LVEDD, LVEF and LVMI were measured by echocardiography.Pearson correlation analysis was carried out on the relationship between serological indicators and left ventricular remodeling.Results:There were statistically significant differences between the DCM group and the control group in ultrasonic index, serum sTWEAK, BNP and MMP-1 levels( F=1 447.751, 208.642, 147.46, 55.742, 319.916, 205.741, all P<0.05). Compared with the DCM group with heart function grade Ⅱ, the levels of LVEDd, LVMI, BNP, MMP-1 were higher and LVEF was lower in the DCM group with heart function grade Ⅲ( t=17.702, 19.308, 7.279, 24.511, 5.129, all P<0.05). The serum sTWEAK was negatively correlated with LVEDD and LVMI( r=-0.221, -0.462, all P<0.05), and positively correlated with LVEF( r=0.490, P<0.05). The BNP level was positively correlated with LVEDd and LVMI( r=0.667, 0.483, all P<0.05). The MMP-1 was positively correlated with LVEDd and LVMI( r=0.756, 0.562, all P<0.05). The BNP and MMP-1 were negatively correlated with LVEF( r=-0.476, -0.404, all P<0.05). Conclusion:The serum level of sTWEAK decreased in DCM patients, while BNP and MMP-1 increased in DCM patients.All three indicators can reflect the severity of left ventricular remodeling.

ABSTRACT

Objective Study cisplatin intraperitoneal hot perfusion chemotherapy for colorectal cancer effect a radical cure the prognosis of the patients and the influence of immune function.Methods120 patients who underwent radical resection of colorectal cancer patients, divided into observation group and control group, 60 cases in each group.The observation group were treated with cisplatin in postoperative continuous hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy (chemotherapy for 200mg/m2 solution to cisplatin and injected with 1L), once a week, continuous treatment three weeks.The control group was treated with mFOLFOX6 intravenous chemotherapy (oxaliplatin 100mg/m2 fluorouracil leucovorin 400mg/m2, 400mg/m2), once every two weeks, 12 times of treatment.After the treatment, observation and analysis of two groups of patients before and after treatment of tumor markers (CEA, cancer antigen 19-9, cancer antigen 242), immune function (CD3+ cells, CD4+ cells, CD8+ cells, CD4+ cell ratio/CD8+ cell natural killer cells), quality of life, and the incidence of recurrence and metastasis.ResultsAfter treatment, the quality of life of patients in the observation group the total effective rate was 91.67%, significantly higher than the control group 70.00% (P<0.05), the recurrence rate is 8.33%, the metastasis rate of 10.00% was significantly higher than the control group 28.33% and 25.00% (P<0.05).The observation group of patients with carcinoembryonic antigen, cancer antigen 19-9, cancer antigen 242 level respectively (3.4±1.1)% and (17.5±7.1)% and (4.7±1.9)% was significantly lower than the control group (10.2±2.8)% and (30.1±10.3)% and (20.3±4.5)% (P<0.05), the observation of immune function effect is improved significantly better than the control group, significant differences (P<0.05).ConclusionChemotherapy after radical resection of colorectal cancer patients using cisplatin intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion, can significantly reduce the recurrence rate and metastasis rate, improve immune function, reduce the level of tumor markers, so as to improve the quality of life of patients.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To virtually screen lignanoid compounds with inhibitory effect of histone deacetylase(HDAC)by vir-tual screening method. METHODS:Using“lignanoid”as keyword,requiring CNKI,VIP,PubMed and other database,lignanoid compounds were collected as ligand to establish ligand base, histone deacetylase receptor HDAC2 (PDB code:4LXZ) and HDAC8 (PDB code:1T69) were selected from PDB database,and then ligands and 3D active site of receptors were docked by SYBYL-X 2.0 software. The affinity of receptors to ligand was reflected by total score. RESULTS:345 lignanoid compounds, 4LXZ and 1T69 primary ligand were used to establish ligand base which included 347 ligands. Ligands No.275,271,110,200, 056,258,181,129,037,270,187 were demonstrated good affinity with receptors HDAC2 and HDAC8. Ligands and receptors residue were docked via hydrogen bond. CONCLUSIONS:Lignanoid compounds have inhibitory effect on HDAC;virtual screen-ing method is effective in natural product activity prediction,which can provide quick access to and theoretical guidance for new pharmacological studies of lignanoid compounds.

ABSTRACT

Three homoisoflavonoids, 6-aldehydo-3-ophiopogonanone A, methyl ophiopogonanone A and ophiopogonanone A from Ophiopogon japonicus were analyzed simultaneously by HPLC with acetonitrile-water containing 0.5% H3 PO4 (58:42) as the mobile phase, and the detection wavelength was set at 296 nm (0-14 min) and 275 nm (14-22 min). The mean recoveries of three homoisoflavonoids were 99.41%-99.86% (RSD 0.82%-1.05%). The linear response ranges of. 6-aldehydo-3-ophiopogonanone A, methyl ophiopogonanone A and ophiopogonanone A were 0.165-0.990 microg (r = 0.999 9), 0.153-0.918 microg (r = 0.999 9), and 0.270-1.620 microg (r = 0.999 9), respectively. This method was certified to be accurate and reliable and can be used for quality control of O. japonicus.

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To determine the contents of twelve ginsenosides in the root of Panax ginseng by HPLC.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>The analysis is carried out at room temperature on a Luna NH2 column (4.6 mm x 150 mm, 5 microm) eluted with acetonitrile and water as the mobile phases in a gradient elution. The flow-rate was 1.0 mL x min(-1), the detection wavelength was 203 nm.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>Twelve ginsenosides (Rh2, Rh1, Rg2, Rg3, Rg1, Rf, Re, Rd, Re, Rb2, Rb3, Rb1) were separated at baseline within 60 min with good linearity (r > or = 0.999 5). The recovery rates were 98.1%, 95.3%, 96.1%, 95.6%, 97.3%, 98.6%, 98.0%, 96.4%, 96.1%, 97.6%, 96.8%, 96.9% (RSD < or = 3.0%).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The method was simple,fast and could control the quality of P. ginseng effectively.</p>

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To establish an HPLC method for simultaneous determination of panaxynol and panaxydol from the fibrous root of Panax ginseng.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>The analysis was performed on Elite C18 column (4.6 mm x 150 mm, 5 microm) with mobile phase gradient of CH3CN-water at a flow rate of 1.0 mL x min(-1). The detection wavelength was 230 nm, and the detection temperature was ambient.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>The linear range were 0.70-3.50 microg (r = 0.9995) for panaxynol, and 0.64-3.20 microg (r = 0.9999) for panaxydol. The average recoveries were 99.1% (RSD 1.7%) and 99.3% (RSD 1.2%), respectively.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The HPLC method is simple, rapid and reproducible, which can be used for the quality control of the fibrous root of P. ginseng.</p>

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the risk factors of bronchopulmonary dysplasia(BPD)in very low birth weight infant.Methods The clinical data of 49 very low birth weight infants in our NICU from Sep 2006 to Sep 2009 were reviewed,and divided into BPD group(n =15)and without BPD group(n =34).The risk factors of BPD were analysed.Results Compared with the infants without BPD,there were significant differences in gestational age[(29.30 ± 1.48)week vs(30.54 ± 1.60)week],hospital-acquired infection(9 cases vs 10 cases),intrauterine infection(9 cases vs 8 cases),the time for continuous positive airway pressure(CPAP)[(12.47 ± 5.83)d vs(4.24 ± 4.19)d],the time for hyperoxia[(1.47 ± 1.41)d vs (0.18 ±0.63)d],patent ductus arteriosus(5 cases vs 1 cases)(P<0.05).Logistic regression revealed that intrauterine infection and the time for CPAP were independent risk factors of BPD(P <0.05).Conclusion Prophylaxis of intrauterine infection may decrease the mortality and severity of BPD.The prolonged time for CPAP may predict the risk of BPD.

OBJECTIVE:To establish an RP-HPLC analysis of Carthamin in mice and to study its pharmacokinetics.METHODS:The serum concentration of Carthamin was determined by RP-HPLC.The blood concentration-time curve was established and the main pharmacokinetic parameters were computed.RESULTS:The linear range of Carthamin was 0.558~55.8 ?g?L-1(r=0.999 2),with the lowest limit of detection at 0.005 ?g?L-1Carthamin in vivo assumed two-compartment model and rapid absorption.CONCLUSION:The proposed method is simple,sensitive and reproducible,and it met the standard for pharmacokinetic study.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a HPLC method for the determination of quercitrin in Saxifrage.METHODS:The analysis was performed on C18 column(150mm?4.6mm,5?m),the mobile phase was MeOH-0.2%H3PO4 (45∶55)with a flow rate at 1.0ml/min and wavelength at 350nm under room temperature.RESULTS:There was a good linear relationship when the sample size of quercitrin was at a range of 0.40?g~2.00?g(r=0.9 996),the recovery was 95.33%with RSD at 2.80%.CONCLUSION:This method was simple,stable,fast,and reproducible and without the interference of impurity,which can be used for the content determination of quercitrin in Saxifrage.

A microbial consortium of Trichoderma reesei AS3 3711, Aspergillus niger AS3 316 and Saccharomyces cerevisiae AS2 399 was constructed to decomposed rice chaff on the basis of the characters of each microorganism and the mechanism of cellulases In this experiment, rice chaff was pretreated with NaOH before fermentation so that the lignin structure of rice chaff was degraded and hemi cellulose was dissolved partly, which remove the protection of lignin and hemi cellulose on cellulose and demolish its special crystal structure After pretreatment, rice chaff can be degraded more easily with the microbial consortium The optimal technical paths and technological methods were achieved for intenerating rice chaff with the microbial consortium perfectly through orthogonal experiment According to the technological methods, some experiments were done at 30℃ with pH 4 5 It was found that the highest filter paper enzyme activity (FPA) was 5 64U/g and the ratio of cellulose degradation (RCD) was 28 05%
